Each week we try to feature a rare breed of chick or a specialty (ducks, turkeys, silkies, etc). Each week's shipment will be posted on our Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, etc) the Tuesday prior to delivery!

As with last year we will have a safe, controlled system for your to purchase chicks. The video contains a walk-thru of the procedures we will be following. Please read below for more details. As always, face masks are to be worn by everyone.

Chick Days Procedures:

We will be strictly limiting the number of customers inside the store to 16 or less and social distancing is an absolute necessity, please follow the lines as marked to maintain a 6' distance. Only 2 members per group/family will be allowed in for chicks.

We will be doing the same set up again as last year. In case you missed it please read below:

1. Customers wishing to buy birds, please enter through the Garden Center doors and follow the arrows. (Which are conveniently spaced 6 feet apart.)

2. Only staff will be permitted to handle the chicks.

3. No customers will be permitted in the chick area.

4. We will be limiting the number of customers in the store at any one time to 16. If we are at that number you will be asked to wait outside.

5. There are a limited number of chicks arriving, if necessary, we reserve the right to limit purchases to 5 birds per household per week. We cannot hold, reserve or pre-sell any chicks.

6. We are unable to offer curbside pick-up for chicks. There is a not a fair way for us to do this and we do not have the staff to manage it. Thank you for your understanding.

7. Most importantly please be patient, be kind, be respectful. We are all in this together.

As always, we will post the expected breeds on Facebook & Instagram the Tuesday before they arrive. Please keep in mind that the list is subject to change based on hatching. We strongly encourage you to purchase all of your supplies ahead of time (feed, waterers, feeders, lamps, brooders, etc.) and have everything set up and ready to go for your new flock members.
